Care and Maintenance

Care and maintenance is a crucial part of growing rosemary. Without the proper knowledge, you risk loosing all that hard work you have put into your rosemary. We can’t let that happen. That’s why I cover everything you should know about it on my website.

Here, you will find the categories I have covered so far about the care and maintenance needed for successfully growing rosemary.

Flowering

Rosemary will flower as part of its annual cycle and it is the first thing you will notice when your plant is ready to start producing seeds. Flowering usually happens in spring or summer but it varies depending on geographical location, climate conditions, and a lot of other factors.

It is important to know what to expect and what to do when your rosemary is flowering to get the most desirable results.

Pruning

Pruning your rosemary is the best way to promote growth and make it bushier and more productive over time. It is also an excellent way to get rid of damaged, infested, or otherwise undesirable growth from your rosemary and keep it healthy and growing.

I have written articles that cover absolutely everything you should know about pruning rosemary including the best way to do it, why it is important, how often it should be done, and much more.

Transplanting

Transplanting a plant essentially means to move it from one spot to another. You can transplant rosemary in several ways such as from a pot into the ground, from one spot in the ground to another, or from one pot to another.

There are many reasons why you might want to transplant your rosemary. For example, if you grow it in a pot, you will almost certainly have to transplant, or repot, it at some point as it will run out of room for its roots in the pot.

I cover absolutely everything you should know about transplanting rosemary on my website, no matter if you need to move your plant to another spot in the ground, repot it into a larger pot, or something else.
